Coney Island, Brooklyn—Mermaid Parade

There were so many film cameras I didn’t get to shoot photos of.

I spotted a number of other TLR, rangefinder and SLR shooters. While the folks from the press all had DSLRs, one was shooting his two Leicas while his DSLR just hung from his neck; another was slinging two TLRs; and a third was spotted taking out a Holga now and then. So, film is not just for the amateur enthusiast.

A tumblog of New York camera style, featuring film cameras spotted in New York City.

This tumblog is inspired by Tokyo Camera Style. Thanks to John of Tokyo Camera Style for approving my appropriation of his awesome idea.
